Minutes

October 28, 2008

 

The President Dale Kasofsky called the meeting to order at 7:07 P.M. In attendance were board members Dale Kasofsky, Hector Madrigal and Ernesto Sepulveda. Also attending was property manager Ted Miller Jr. A quorum was present and the meeting commenced.

 

The minutes of the meeting held on January 23, 2008 were reviewed and approved by acclimation.

 

The financial reports for January thru September 2008 were presented and reviewed. Upon motion and unanimous vote they were approved as presented. The collections report was reviewed and upon motion and unanimous approval the President and Secretary were authorized to sigh a resolution appointing Ted Miller Jr., Miguel D. Wise, and/or Bernice Lindsay to serve as an agent, trustee, or attorney of the Association to exercise the power of sale granted by law on behalf of the association to foreclose its lien on Unit No. 163, Meadowood Townhomes Subdivision Phase No. 1.

 

The Board then reviewed and discussed the annual insurance proposals. After unanimous vote it was agreed to accept the proposal from Quirk and Company for Liability and Property insurance and from Plus for the D&O Liability coverage.

 

The Board discussed landscaping and maintenance items. Proposals were reviewed for tree trimming and upon motion and unanimous vote the proposal from Holt Lawn & Tree Service was accepted. The Board then discussed a proposal to raise the sidewalk and build a retaining wall at the entry to the pool area. After some debate, motion and unanimous vote it was agreed to look into the standing water problem further and make a recommendation to the homeowners at the annual meeting.

 

There being no further business to discuss, upon unanimous vote the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
